I have not used this one yet, but 2 of my family members have the exact same ⛺️ So that is why I bought this tent. It is reliable and big. My nephew started out with his first one with 2z young kids and wife. Plenty of room for 2 cots and a camp bunk bed. Now the 16 year old daughter and her 3/4 friends use it and the dad bought the same tent for him and his wife. They had there 1st one for 10 years and still going strong. The only issue has been the large pole for the swing door broke, but he fixed it with duct tape. 😁 the 2 end windows are in a position where you can leave them open a couple of inches even with a driving rain for ventilation. I bought this tent for just myself because I take everything but the kitchen sink. Would highly recommend.y recommend this tent. It takes 2 of us about 20 minutes tops to put it up, that includes putting down ground tarp and positioning it where we like. But we have been doing it for years. 💚💚💚

My husband and I purchased this tent as a replacement for a yurt or a bell style tent that we had used last year during camping over the summer. As for this new tent, the weather master, we first set up the tent without the rain fly and were beyond pleased with the amount of airflow we got from the open top of the tent. We had two queen size air mattresses and a dog crate inside and still had plenty of room. my number one favorite thing about the inside of this tent is that it’s tall enough that we can stand up inside. When it rained during we day we brought our camping chairs inside and played cards and it was plenty comfortable for a group of 5.

Although our camping trip included rain storms every night, and one night with very heavy winds. The steady winds were about 30 mph with even stronger gusts. The tent held up like a champ, although the sound of air blowing under the rain fly was a little bit loud.. We were able to zip up some of the windows to prevent rain from getting in, but could also open the windows under the rain fly to get some airflow when the rain & wind weren’t too crazy. We practiced setting up the tent one time at home and my husband was able to almost completely set up the tent by himself while I was watching the kids. we really loved the hinged door. I wasn’t sure what the purpose of this was before setting up the tent and using it, but it’s extremely convenient to go in and out of the tent, especially if you’re carrying things and the door will shut behind you. It has Velcro to automatically attach when it shuts, but you want to make sure you zip it up overnight or when it’s going to be a long amount of time to prevent bugs from getting in. I would definitely recommend this tent to anybody looking for a larger family, friendly tent That is also very durable and weather proof.

The issue with the yurt was that there was not a lot of airflow because the windows were low down and we were camping at the beach during the summer. We also had issues with the yurt tent not holding up in a bad thunderstorm due to heavy winds.

DO NOT BUY. This is a terrible tent. Rained a bit on our first night, we used the rain fly, we woke up wet. Rain came right through the rain fly. 1st pic shows rain went right through the rain fly. Last pic shows that rain fell onto our sleeping bags.

    resisted strong winds

March 15th 2026. We took this tent to Franklin Mountains State Park in Texas in El Paso. We got blasted by really strong winds, I can't estimate how strong, but it was beyond what I expected a tent this size to withstand. It was bending and flexing all over, and we had to go out and reset the pegs a few times because the wind was pulling them up.
Finally, we opened the windows so the wind could blew through to reduce the tension.
Next morning we did a review to evaluate the damage, but despite all that the tent resisted unscathed, there was no damage and we had no issues. I strongly recommend!

    So much fun

This might be the single most fun thing we’ve ever purchased. We bought it for long term camping at our local dark ages Faire next spring, but we made the mistake of setting it up in our backyard and now we basically live in it. It would be even better if it came with a footprint (we made our own); also, the mesh ceiling will be awesome when it gets warm, but it’s a bit chilly now that it’s winter (we ended up tapestrying the entire interior and putting in carpets, and now it couldn’t be cozier). An entry vestibule would be a nice addition, too—rain does collect on the door, and that water does get inside when the door is opened. But with all the modifications we’ve made this tent is really quite spectacular.
