Orion shows “No Signal,” won’t power on, or the screen flickers. What should I do?

Power Orion using the original Nintendo Switch charger or a compatible power bank. Phone chargers (including iPhone 15 and most USB-C phone adapters) are not compatible and may cause “No Signal,” failure to boot, or screen flickering. Ensure your Switch has battery, is fully inserted, and press the HOME button if it’s in sleep mode. Boot-up may take 6–8 seconds.

Which Nintendo Switch models are compatible with Orion?

Orion is compatible with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch OLED.

Will Orion cause my Nintendo Switch to overheat?

No. Orion is engineered with dedicated ventilation openings to maintain proper airflow and prevent overheating during gameplay.

Can Orion work with devices other than the Nintendo Switch?

Yes. Orion works like a portable monitor.

It supports:

HDMI devices (gaming consoles, laptops, media players)

USB-C devices, including iPhone 15 and most Android phones

Note:

If a phone’s USB-C port is charge-only, screen display is not supported.

When connecting a phone inside the back cover, a USB-C male-to-female extension cable is required.

Does Orion have a built-in battery?

No. Orion does not include an internal battery.

A compatible power bank (8,000–10,000mAh ≈ 3–4 hours of use)

Can I detach the Joy-Con controllers while using Orion?

Yes. The Joy-Cons remain fully detachable for handheld play. Orion ships with the controller rails separate in the box; simply attach them following the user manual.
