Why is there no sound after plugging in?

Make sure the plug is pushed in all the way until you feel it click. A partial connection may look inserted but will not transmit audio properly. Push firmly until it stops.

My iPhone asks what device I connected. What should I choose?

Select “Other Device”, not “Headphones”. If audio still behaves incorrectly, restart the phone once so it reinitializes the connection.

Does this work with Lightning and USB-C phones?

Yes, but make sure you choose the correct edition. For Android phones and USB-C iPhones, get the USB-C Edition (this one). For Lightning iPhones, choose the Lightning Bundle. Devices with a 3.5 mm headphone jack are always supported.

Does the handset have its own volume or mute buttons on the handle?

To keep the authentic classic design, the handset does not have extra buttons. You simply control the call volume and mute functions directly from your smartphone or computer. Just plug it in, adjust your phone volume, and enjoy your call.

Can I use this handset to listen to my music or watch movies?

The handset is acoustically optimized specifically for voice calls to give you the exact feel of a classic telephone. While you can hear audio from videos, it uses mono sound and is not designed to replace your stereo headphones for playing music.

For smartphones and computers: Works with devices that support wired headsets; connect via 3.5 mm jack or the included active USB-C adapter, while iPhone 7–14 require the Lightning bundle (sold separately).
Check your phone port before ordering: Use the headphone jack if present, otherwise use USB-C; devices with a Lightning port need the Lightning bundle from Opis Technology.
Push connectors in fully: Plugs must be inserted completely for proper audio and microphone function, and thick phone cases may need to be removed.
Wired connection, no setup required: No Bluetooth, batteries or apps; if audio does not switch immediately, reconnect once or restart the phone.
