Should you notice any noise from your fountain, ensure the sponge is properly inserted by pressing it into the pump, and verify that the fountain’s water level is appropriate.
What Veken replacement filters are compatible with my Veken 84oz/2.5L pet water fountain?
We recommend using our Veken replacement filters and sponge packs for 84oz pet fountains.
How often should I be replacing my Veken pet fountain filters?
The charcoal filter and the square sponge filter should be changed every 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the number of pets using the fountain. Having more pets using the fountain, will mean that you’ll have to replace your filters more frequently.
Why am I finding small black particles in my pet’s water?
Those are charcoal dust particles. Charcoal dust seeping from our filters is normal and not harmful to your pets. To limit this, soak the filter in water for 5 minutes, then rinse for a minute and place it in the fountain.
How often should I clean my Veken pet fountain?
We recommend the fountain is cleaned every two weeks, or weekly in locations with hard water.
