Poor instructions, need additional tools to assemble
Overall, I’m happy with this product. It is very sturdy and works as it should. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is that I had trouble assembling it. The issue was that I could not detach the left pedal from the left nut. After a lot of frustration, time and energy, I eventually found out that the left pedal is REVERSE THREADED, so you have to turn the left nut to the right to detach it from the left pedal. This crucial information is not in the instruction manual, and the right pedal is threaded normally, so it wasn’t immediately obvious. Once I knew about the reverse threading, the peddle exerciser was relatively easy to assemble. However, I did not think the two spanners provided in the box were sufficient. I also needed to use a wrench and pliers.
I have been trying for my mom to be more active and I have finally being able to achieve it!! She loves her pedals. Now does it every day twice a day. Super easy to put together and adjust. Compact design so there is no complaint about space and its easy to carry. She has been able to work her way up to different resistance and getting stronger. I might not say it will be ideal for someone who is athletic, but for a sedentary person it is the perfect way to start.
The purchase was for a friend of mine who have broken her leg. She uses it for range of motion and I also found it convenient and easy to do arm exercises with it
The bike was a bit of hassel to put together and the clock or timer was rubbish. However the bike does do would its said to do. Get a non slip rug or something because it will move no matter what is said. Probably no better or worse than any other of the same type of equipment.

I purchased this item to put under my desk at work, tried it yesterday. Does not cycle smoothly, herky jerky rotation of pedals, even with tension adjusted and hit my knees twice on my desk while using it.
Bought this to help tone muscles after knee replacement but didnt have enough room for a full training bike. perfect! Great size (can fit under desk and easily lifted) and easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend.
