How to connect with the App? (The Device name is “Aimiler-EV_Charger”)

1. Make sure your phone to connect the 2.4G wifi, not connect the wifi whose name has 5G suffix; Open the wifi and bluetooth of your smartphone.

2. You can search “Smart life” by Apple store(iPhone) or Google Store(Android phone) and download the APP, register by yourself directly, then click the “add” button and search your device. (Open the bluetooth permission for this app in your smartphone)

3. Wait 3-5 seconds, then you will find the device and click “Add” button, then insert your wifi password and add it.

Troubleshooting: How to solve the issue of “Can’t Connect APP”:

1. Factory/Wifi reset: Pull out the charging gun, simultaneously long press the Ⓐ button and time button on the product screen until it shows “Factory Reset”, then re-start the machine.

2. Have a check with your smartphone’s wifi, switch the 5G wifi to 2.4G wifi(Switch the router from dual brand (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz) to only 2.4 GHz and opened the Smart Life App again)

3. Open the APP, open the wifi and bluetooth of your smartphone, then add the device.

Warmly note: It is not allowed to adjust the current during the charging: Stop the charging, then you can adjust current.(Because adjust the current when charging may cause abnormalities, so we set this function can be done after turn off the charging.

By Screen Button(Delay Charging): For example you can set your screen’s delay time to 6 hours(06:00:00) at 5pm, then the ev charger will start charging on 11pm and it will automatically end until your car is fully of charging. By APP(Period Charging): You can set the fixed charging period by APP.

Adjust the charging cureent by screen buttons: Long press “A” button or “Time” button for 3-5 seconds and enter into the setting interface, then adjust the current by your needs. (Pull out the charging gun before press the buttons, otherwise no respond)

Why can’t connect with the APP? I can’t find the device. (Add APP on New Network or New Smartphone)

1. Switch the router from dual (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz) to only 2.4GHz and open the App.

2. Open the wifi and bluetooth of your smartphone when first conenction.

3. Do factory reset/wifi reset if can’t find the device or change to a new smartphone/network.

How to get this charger working properly? I bought an 110V adapter and connected it to the socket, it’s not working.

1. Please confirm whether the Adapter cable is used for EVs or only for RVs.

2. When use the nema 5-15p adapter cable, it is convenient for most occassions, but it means slow level 1 voltage charging, some cars may drop to 12A.

Why no respond when press the screen buttons? I need to adjust the current.

Please pull out the charging gun before press the buttons.(Please slide to stop the charging if use APP.)

Because adjusting the current or doing the other operations while charging tends to cause confusion and conflict.

Why the ev charger stopped working? The outlet is getting power and the car is able to charge the car.

Wifi reset/Factory Reset: Pull out the charging gun, simultaneously long press the Ⓐ button and time button on the product screen until it shows “WIFI Reset” or “Factory Reset”. Then restart the ev charger, then it will charge normally again.

What temperatures are safe for operation? My unit shows a temperature of 119F when charging.

The Charging temperature can be high if installed in an airtight area or in the summer. The Charging temperature of 185°F is normal.

If your charging current is decreased due to the high temperature, you can reset the current again next time.
