    Winter storage…

    Kayak weighs 40 lbs. Winter storage in garage. Replaced the wall hooks it came with. Used heavy duty 4.5 inch eye screws instead. Also used a center strap in the middle to help with the weight. Kayak will be in storage almost 6 months. I secured the kayak in the holder before I hung it up. It was easy to set up, and I had help putting the hooks through the eye screws to hang it. Excellent product. Worth the price. Works well for winter storage, but that is only what I would use it for.

    Great hooks and straps. Really easy to install by myself. I wish the buckles were sturdier, I broke 1 after the second time of hanging my kayak. I now either have to slide my kayak through a knoted hole after every use or go and replace the buckle myself.

    These worked great until… a kayak fell on my husband. The webbing broke at the stitching. Lasted almost two years. My previous set lasted way longer but were lost in a move. We have far fewer opportunities to kayak here so we did not move kayaks in and out of the straps much at all. I think it is the quality of the webbing material is not up to the task. It needs to be upgraded
