This is a sturdy tent!
This thing stood up yo 1.5" of heavy wet snow overnight while camping in the Big Horn mountains of Wyoming. Nothing torn, broken or bent. Even the awning didn't fall! I am very impressed!

Great tent. It feels so roomy inside with the bulging walls. We set it up during a rain storm when it was a lighter period. It was storming all night and I’m glad to report there were not any leaks. It is definitely easy enough to set up by yourself or with a helping hand in under 30 min.

Love the High Ceiling. The Door/Canopy not so Much

Just came back from a four day camping trip with my old tent. The ceiling at its highest point is 4.5 feet. I've had the old tent for three years and I finally had enough of crawling around on my hands and knees. So I ordered this Timber Ridge hub tent that has a ceiling height of 6.6 feet. I set it up in the backyard just to test it out.

Of course their claim of a 60-second setup is a lie, but we have all learned that a lot of tent descriptions are "misinformation". The most frequent tent "misinformation" is "it's a four person tent". I've learned that a "four person tent" really means a "two person tent".

Setup took about five minutes. First you have to unfold the tent flat. Next you lift up each of the three sides. Then you go inside and push up the top. Next you install the three inside poles on the wall with the door. Next you go outside and stake down the four corners. Then you throw the rain fly over the top and attach the four corners. Next you raise the canopy using the supplied poles and string. If you can do all that in 60-seconds, you must be "The Flash".

Being inside this tent is a joy. I'm 5'9" and I can walk around everywhere without my head touching the ceiling. The two plastic windows, the eight mesh windows, the mesh top, and the huge mesh front door let in plenty of light and air. On rainy days, I could see setting up a table and chairs inside the tent to play games on or to eat on.

All these great features do come at a cost. When packed in its storage bag, this tent is about 5.5 feet long and about 10 inches in diameter. It also weighs about 30 pounds. So, you are not going to want to carry this tent very far and if you have a small sedan car, it may not fit inside your car even if you fold down the rear seat. It does fit easily in my SUV with the rear seat folded down.

IMHO the rain fly should reach farther down the sides, but then in the front it would interfere with the canopy. A better solution would be to make the canopy part of the rain fly. The door could then be a traditional full zip open waterproof door with a mesh window having a zip open window cover. With the current design if you are inside the tent with the front door zipped closed, you cannot see out the front.

If you have been searching for a larger tent that you can stand up in to put on your pants, this tent will fit the bill. Just be aware of how big and heavy this thing is and the issues with the door/canopy.

Good quality but not resistant to windy rain

The quality is overall good but the design made it leak when raining and windy. The rain fly is not low or not enough coverage the rain gets in through the screened top.
I was in Big Bend NP when it rained with gusty wind.
Size is good for 2 of us. It fit the two camping bed with extra room for lights and bags. Taking it down is easy but the tent folded and packed is long. Barely fit my truck bed. I have to return it due to the tent not weather resistant.

    Easy Assembly

One of the easiest tents my husband and I have set up ever. Better than the pop-up ones. The roof, without the cover, is covered completely by a mesh "screen" which is amazing if you're a summer/warm-weather camper. Colder/cooler weather? Well, you know you have to prepare.

Directions lacked a lot of information. Poles took a while to figure out and install.

I definitely needed more than 10 minutes plus the help of my neighbor to set this tent up. It popped up just fine, but the directions did not say that the poles went on the INSIDE of the tent, or which poles went where. I really struggled with getting the tent poles into the pockets, it seemed like the poles were too long or the tent was too small. If there’s a secret, I’d love to know it. Not happy that the net storage compartments are on the floor and not higher. Makes them useless if they’re behind a bed or storage. Dumb. But, other than the poles, and storage, it’s a great tent. I love the size, all the windows, and that some windows have plastic so they can be open if it rains. It came down easily and could be packed into the carrying case without struggling to stuff it in.

Sooo easy to set up and take down. We took it down in the rain in maybe 5 minutes. Spacious for sure, fit our queen air mattress and a pack and play next to it. Not sure about fitting 6 people but definitely 4 with room to move

Water resistant, easy for one person

As a 5'5, 135 lbs person, I have no problem setting up this tent by myself. It's the best tent I have ever owned.

    Cons:
    – it's big when folded up and it's a bit heavy. It has straps to help you carry it in the bag
    – because it's very water resistant, it can get a little hot/humid inside the tent, but there are PLENTY of vents.
    – someone reviewed that it's not a 4 season tent. I disagree. I think if you understand how tents work and the fact that condensation can build up and cause it to literally rain inside of your tent without proper ventilation, you want it to have proper ventilation. If you become damp on your clothes and inside your tent, of course you would be cold, that's why you need to vent. – It closes up well, and your clothing and your sleeping bag should be doing the rest of the job to keep you warm.

    PROS
    – you can fully stand up almost all the way around the entirety of the tent. My 6'2" friend was able to comfortably stand in the center and only duck his head a bit around the edges
    – very secure in the weather when you tie guy down, deflects wind and rain.
    – extremely easy for one person to pop up, but even easier of two people are working together. One person can do it in less than 6 minutes.

Oh so very easy to set up.
    I didn’t argue with it.
And pretty roomy for two adults and dachshund.
And, I got back in the bag.
