Core Design: What is “Split-Body”?

The iT32 consists of two parts: the light body and the magnetic flash trigger base. They connect via magnetic attachment, and the magnetic base can function as a standalone flash trigger.

Can it still be used if I switch camera brands?

The iT32 light head is universal. The only brand-specific component is the X5 trigger base (available in C/N/S/F/O versions for Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.).

Can it sync with my AD200 Pro or V1?

The iT32 incorporates Godox’s 2.4G Wireless X System. It can function as a “slave unit” triggered by X3, Xpro, or similar triggers, or as a “master unit” controlling other Godox AD or V series flashes when paired with an X5.

Can the head rotate?

Despite its compact size, the head offers excellent flexibility:

Horizontal rotation: 180° clockwise, 90° counterclockwise.

Vertical tilt: 0° to 90°.

Is it powerful enough despite its small size?

Power (GN Value): Its guide number is GN18 (ISO 100). Compared to larger hot shoe flashes (e.g., V1’s GN28 or 60), it offers lower power, primarily designed for portable outdoor photography, fill lighting, and event documentation.
