We've had one set of paddles for years. My son wanted another so he could bring friends who didn't have equipment to play pickleball. When I saw he wanted the Nerf version, I expected them to be different–smaller with smaller balls or something. The paddle handles are more padded than our other set, and the grips are more rubbery. I actually feel like that might make them harder for small hands to hold, but not by much. Otherwise, the paddles are very similar to our other set (see picture). The balls are just like our others. The bag it comes in is apparently what you're supposed to use to transport it. I don't hold out hope for the bag lasting very long. It's a simple mesh bag, much like what onions are packaged in. Other than that, it's a good set. The price is a bit high–you could probably find a similar one with a better bag at about the same price.

    These work great for my kids. I like the balls that come with these paddles better for kids.

    Great for my kids! Put one in each Easter basket so they have their own paddles when we go play pickle ball. Light and easy for my 4 and 6 year old to use.

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:
    Better than what you would expect from Nerf, but not quite good enough for older kids. Our littles are enjoying them.

    These were heavier than expected. Good starter paddle set elementary aged kids. Don’t recommend for kids under 6 because of weight.

    These are perfect for my sons who are 4 & 6 who are beginners at pickleball. They are the right size and seem very durable. The colors are bright so they won’t get lost. Good value for the money.

    Sturdy for kids

    Paddles are great! These are wooden and hit well not like hollow cheaper ones. My child has thrown them around a lot and they have not chipped or broken.
    I gave a 4 star review because the foam on the handle separated or twisted up quickly. We still use them, but can be a little irritating.
