How does a black light find pet urine? Why is some cat urine undetectable?

Wavelengths in a blacklight cause phosphorus and proteins in pet urine to glow, exposing the cause of odors and concealed stains. A low-phosphorus diets will result in a low levels of phosphate in the urine of cats, their urine will be undetectable.

Why the wet urine stain and wet potty pad is not detectable?

UV light is only effective for detecting dry pet urine. Fresh urine, urine that is not completely dry may cause the UV light to be very weak or not glow. Allow the pee to completely dry before attempting to identify it with for the brightest glow.

Why I cannot find stains in the room?

1. It works best in a complete dark environment. The darker it is, the better it works;

2. For a few dark color carpets, the reflected stain color may will be very close to the color of the carpet, making it harder to see.

Why the flashlight cannot be turned on when it arrived?

Please unscrew the battery compartment and remove the insulator sheet for battery protection before first use.
